Health and wellbeing

SWAG合集is committed to providing a healthy work and study environment. We offer a range of health and wellbeing initiatives to support our employees and students:

  • SG Fit
    The fitness precinct is located at SWAG合集Toowoomba, SWAG合集Springfield and SWAG合集Ipswich provide gym facilities and personal training.
  • SWAG合集Multi-faith services
    Our Multi-faith service supports religious and spiritual life at the university. 
  • Health and Wellbeing Network
    The SWAG合集Health and Wellbeing Network contributes to the development and implementation of innovative health and wellbeing programs and promotes and expands on existing supports. Employees and students interested in membership or more information should email Wellbeing@unisq.edu.au 

Students

The University provides a number of personalised student support services and programs to enrich the student learning journey including counselling, wellbeing services, career development and education, employability programs as well as welfare, disability, health, financial and multi-faith support.

Employees

  • Corporate Gym Membership 
    The Fit and Well Corporate Health Program provides free membership to SG Fit (to eligible employees), including access to all group classes. 
  • Employee Assistance Programs (EAP)
    Our Employee Assistance Program provides free confidential counselling and resources for employees and their families. 

When you apply for a Corporate Gym Membership, SWAG合集will share your personal information (including your name and your employment status) with the SWAG合集Student Guild as the operators of Fit and Well (‘SG Fit’). The purpose of sharing this information is to verify your employment, and therefore your eligibility for a corporate membership, and will not be used for any other purpose.
